BIG PROTEST AGAINST GAIL IN VORKADY

It is  convened a first meeting of aggrieves of proposed Cochin –
Kootanadu – Mangalore Natural Gas pipeline of Vorkady and Meenja
Panchayath at Farm Information Center at Vorkady on 06th December 2011
at 3.00 P.M. Block Panchayath Vice President Sri. Harshad Vorkady has
inaugurated the meeting and Vorkady Panchayath Vice President Sri. P.
B. Aboobacker is presided over the function. District Panchayath
Standing committee Chairperson Smt. Mamatha Divakar,  Meenja
Panchayath Vice President Sri Abdul Kareem,  Sri. Majal Mohammed, Sri.
B. K. Mohammed, Sri. Aboobacker Siddique, Sri. Ummer Borkala, Sri.
Diwakar S.J. are among the others  represented both the Panchayath and
Political Parties who are  presented on the meeting.
Before conclusion of the meeting they unanimously made the following
proceedings.
NO. 1 It is proposed the send the objection letter to the Complaint
Authoriy of above said project, by each and every  person who received
the letter from GAIL and one whose land shell be acquired by the Gail.
No. 2. It is resolver to oppose the above said project at any cost to
save the aggrieved farmers and agriculturist of the above project.
No. 3. It is unanimously formed an adhoc committee to fight against
the above project as bellow.
